Carpet Cleaning

Your carpets collect thousands of microorganisms including dust mites and bacteria not to mention a lot of dry soil. It is important to keep your carpets clean not only to promote better health, but also to make your home look clean.

Remember..... Your carpet is the number one air filter in your home.

What makes Anderson's better? Several things, but for starters it's our commitment to helping our customers maintain a clean healthy indoor living environment. Of course there's also the fact that we are certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). We have training to properly care for your carpet and other fine furnishings. What separates us from the rest? With Anderson’s you will receive our thorough Eleven Step Cleaning Process, which is sure to leave you with a smile and the cleanest carpets you have ever seen!

Did you know that most carpet manufacturers recommend that carpets are cleaned every 6 to 24 months? It's true! The reason for this is that dust particles accumulate and the naked eye cannot see them, which after time causes a traffic area.

Dirt and soil are easily seen on a hard surface and soon wipe off, but on carpet it can soon work its way deep into the fibers where the abrasive action will cause them to deteriorate and need replacing prematurely.

What you can do to prepare for your carpet cleaning:

What you can expect Andersons to do for you:

Anderson’s Eleven Step Cleaning Process

Pre-inspection: We will evaluate your carpet's needs. Every carpet is treated differently. We will decide what will be the best method for cleaning your carpet. You will know up front what we can and can't do. This way there are no surprises.

Moving Furniture: When necessary, we will move and replace small furniture in its original position. We place corner guards around the corners our hoses touch

Vacuum: We use only HEPA vacuum systems to help remove particulates in the air. After all, we are cleaning for health.

Pre-treat/ Pre-spray: We treat spots and stains as necessary and apply a cleaning solution to the entire carpet.

Agitate: After pre-spray is applied, we use brushes to agitate the fibers to prepare for a deep cleaning.

Cleaning: We can use the traditional wand or use our state-of-the-art equipment, the power scrubber, for a thorough deep cleaning that leaves your carpet almost completely dry.

Ph Neutralizer: This product is applied after cleaning your carpet to help condition the carpet fibers. It also helps with “brown-outs” & leaves your carpet fibers feeling soft again.

Post Treat: If any spots are not removed during cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are used. Note: Potential permanent stains, as identified by technician may not be removed.

Carpet Protector (optional): At the customer’s discretion, a protector can be applied to the carpet. This helps against spills & also helps the longevity of the carpet fibers. It also keeps the warranty in effect.

Protect & Groom: When necessary we will place blocks or tabs under furniture legs to protect them during the drying process and groom the carpet for a clean inviting look.

Speed Dry Assist: With the help of air movement, your carpet will just be barely damp by the time we are finishing up the job. We also give you a pair of shoe covers, so you’re not “banned” from walking on your newly cleaned carpet.

Anderson’s will provide a free bottle of Spotter and shoe protectors.
